Great duels and surprises were experienced on the third day of activities at the National Little League Tournament "Forming Stars" in its fourth edition.
An intense day was held yesterday, Sunday, with shocking results and some very one-sided.
In the 9-10-year-old category, the Mapaches de Lerdo defeated the representative of the Tarahumara League by a tight score of 4-3, while Sertoma A lost 4-3 against the Gigantes de Monterrey.
The semifinals will take place starting this Monday at the Torreón Sports Unit and the Revolución Stadium, and the finals are at 12:30 at the same venues.
The Yaquis La Loma lose against Linda Vista de Monterrey with a score of 24-0. In the same category, the Satélite League of Ciudad Juárez won against Linces de Puebla with a score of 8-3, Parral San Uriel wins 5-1 against Nuevo León 2008, and Apaches de Cuauhtémoc defeats Nuevo León 2007 with a score of 5-4.
In the 13-14-year-old category, Prepa Allende loses 4-7 against González Sport Academy, Expos de Saltillo loses 5-3 against González Academy, and Sertoma B is defeated 0-10 against González Academy.
Sertoma falls 3-0 against Diablos Rojos de Piedras Negras, Sertoma B wins 6-3 against Apodaca Nuevo León, Apaches 8-5 against Aguascalientes, and Liga Tarahumara Padres defeats Acereros Saltillo 13-3.
In the 15-17-year-old category, Academy la Guagua de Monterrey loses 0-3 against Ciudad Juárez, Academia de Talentos Delicias wins their game 6-2 against Indios de Cuauhtémoc Nuevo León.
Liga Oriente defeats Granjeros de Ciudad Juárez 7-2, Unidad Modelo wins 3-2, and Academia de Vaqueros Laguna blanks Academia Municipal de Matamoros 6-0.
