"It was a very tough year and the anger I have hasn't gone away. The Venezuelan intentionally headbutted me, that's why I eagerly awaited to be face to face with her in the ring again. All I can say to her is to bring her first aid kit because she is going to leave here badly beaten," Linda Lecca assured in the lead-up to the fight.
"After fighting me, she won't have any desire to continue boxing. I promise to retire her from boxing and for that, I train hard, with the desire for the fight day to come," Linda Lecca added, who has been training at the Bombonera in Estadio Nacional.
The venue that will host the fight between Lecca and Álvarez will be confirmed in the coming hours, but one of the great possibilities being considered is the Plaza Norte shopping center, where 'Triple L' fought last time. Meanwhile, Plaza Lima Sur in Chorrillos is another option.
