The national sextet was down 2-1 at the end of the third set and closed it in a strong way to secure the victory on Court 1 of the Sports Park of the Paraguayan Volleyball Federation (FPV).
The team directed by Francisco Hervás triumphed on the day before the end of the XII ASU-2022 South American Games, where Peru earns its nineteenth gold medal in the competition.
The victory also makes Peru the most successful team in women's volleyball in the history of the Odesur Games.
