A terrible news is what has been revealed about volleyball, as some players of the Peruvian National Team have stated that the Peruvian Volleyball Federation (FPV) has invited them to leave the national team if they don't like the management.

This happened when the national team won the bronze medal in the South American Volleyball Games. Once the team captain, Eduardo Romay, went up to the podium, he assured that the sports entity made this request to them in case they are not satisfied with the management.
"You can continue to speak ill of us on social media, mocking what we do, but nobody on this team receives a sol and we train daily; this team didn't even have water, but it receives the mockery and still smiles. This team, which the federation turned its back on and 'invited to retire' if they didn't like how things were being managed, but remained firm because they understood that love for Peru is greater than its leaders," he said.
However, this wouldn't be the only one to have said strong things against the FPV, since the athlete Álvaro Hidalgo also commented when giving his opinion on the matter.
"We were able to win the bronze medal in the South American Games, for us it has a much deeper meaning. I am sure that when we have a federation fully committed to men's volleyball, the story will be different," he said.
Other players also spoke out against the FPV
Finally, other members like Benjamin Patrón and Benny Bernaola also joined the criticism against the FPV, highlighting the little support they receive for competition preparation.
"A medal that represents all the effort and sacrifice of my Team Voley Perú without receiving anything in return, only the satisfaction of enjoying what I love the most and what we love the most, thank you Peru," they emphasized.
