Although women's volleyball is one of the most popular sports in Peru, unfortunately, the lack of professionalism in this activity causes many players to retire and dedicate themselves to other activities. For example, the case of Vivian Baella, who stopped playing volleyball and is now a flight attendant at Latam, has become very well known.

Rafaella Camet took a similar path, coinciding with Vivian Baella in the Peruvian National Volleyball Team in different categories. She was considered another promise of Peruvian sports several years ago.
'Rafi' dedicated herself to volleyball for a few more years compared to Baella. It was not until 2015 that she announced her retirement from the National Team to focus on her studies, and then in 2018, she decided to completely leave her life as an athlete to pursue her profession. She had studied administration.
Camet spent her entire club career at Sporting Cristal, a team that no longer competes in the National Superior Volleyball League.
What happened to Raffaella Camet?
According to her Instagram posts, 'Rafi' is living in Madrid, where she is studying an MBA. She is completely away from the world of volleyball.
