All return to the land where they were born.

Ángela Leyva surprised the fans of San Martín and her followers with her return to the club, after spending almost six months in Brazil, where she played for Club Osasco in the Superliga.

Both the volleyball player and the club confirmed their return to the santo team through their social media and are already counting the hours to be able to kill the rivals again in the National Superior Volleyball League. Happy to wear the San Martín shirt again, wrote the killer.

Shined in Brazil

Ángela Leyva concluded her adventure in Rio de Janeiro showing a good level and leaving her numbers in blue: 301 points in total (254 in attack, 30 in blocking, and 17 with her service), distributed in 138 sets (109 in the regular phase and 29 in playoffs), getting into the top of the players in the Brazilian Superliga.

During her stay at the club, she stood out game by game, and proof of that was on December 22nd of last year when she won the recognition for the Best Player of the Match after scoring 16 points against Renata Valinhos Country. In addition, she won the title of the Brazil Cup by defeating Dentil Praia 25-17, 25-17, and 25-19, and in that match, she scored 10 points.

With eagerness

The captain of the Peruvian national team arrives to reinforce San Martín in the playoffs (she was going to play against Sporting Cristall, but by decision of coach Juan Diego García, he preferred to save her). The Peruvian Volleyball Federation confirmed that she has all her papers in order, so this weekend she could once again show off her game and put pressure on the team she faces on the court of the Manuel Bonilla stadium.

The saint fans showed their joy for having the outside/receiver again, who years ago was one of the pillars of the team that won the championship three times in the National Superior Volleyball League, and they hope that this season, in the final stretch, they can repeat the feat. Ángela Leyva is back and ready to make national volleyball thrill.
