Volleyball: Peru beats Argentina in the quarterfinals of the Pan American Cup
The Peruvian Volleyball Team had to make a maximum effort to defeat Argentina, three sets to two, in the quarterfinals of the Pan American Cup.
The national team had to battle against a tough rival, which, based on its physical power, won the first set 25-20.
But the Peruvian team never gave up and was able to level the score by winning the second set 25-21, by improving their reception and attack.
In the third set, Argentina once again took the lead with a score of 25-20, however, the national team bounced back in the fourth set, winning 25-19.
The motivation of the Peruvian Volleyball Team was evident in the fifth and decisive set, with a great start of 4-0 and a conclusive victory of 15-9.
After this great victory, the national team will face the United States in the semifinals of the Pan American Cup this Saturday in Cañete.
