Police Officers Show Their Human Side Through Soccer

Accustomed to seeing them every day with a serious demeanor, impeccably uniformed, and often judging them as arrogant and criticizing them, the elements of the Mexico City Public Security Secretariat give a glimpse of their human side through soccer.

In the facilities of the Mounted Police, the select team made up of the best elements of the Auxiliary Police, Industrial Banking Police, Traffic Police, among others, gathers early in the morning. Under the instructions of coach Sergio Estrada Córdoba, with a coaching license from the FMF, they practice for the games that will define the championship.

In this video, the policemen tell us how soccer helps them put aside their worries, stress, and ill treatment they claim to receive, in order to showcase their talent and give a good image to the citizens through the practice of this popular sport.
