PSG signs Julian Draxler
Paris Saint Germain (PSG) has officially signed German international Julian Draxler (23 years old) from Wolfsburg with a contract until June 30, 2021.

Draxler expressed his joy after signing the contract and also his "impatience" to join "a club that has become a reference in Europe, which has recruited many great players in recent years."
He said he intends to do his best "to help PSG win new titles and continue to grow internationally."

The club's president, Nasser Al Khelaïfi, also expressed his satisfaction at signing a "highly sought-after German international" who "affirms the team's attracting power" in the French capital.
Al Khelaïfi stated that Draxler has the qualities to fit into PSG's playing project and to "seduce" their fans.
"With the signing of Julian Draxler, we maintain PSG's ambitions at a very high level, where all our fans want the club of their heart to shine," he concluded.

According to "L'Équipe", the transfer fee is 38 million euros, in addition to bonuses, and the midfielder will initially have a gross monthly salary of 421,000 euros.
The sports newspaper also reported that the extension of the contract of the current star of the French capital's formation, Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani, will take place in mid-January, at the end of next week at the earliest.
Cavani, the top scorer this season among footballers in European leagues (with 24 goals in 23 matches played), will sign for two more years, until 2020, and that will bring an increase in his salary, according to "L'Équipe".

Cavani, who will reaffirm his status as the club's "number one" after Zlatan Ibrahimovic's departure, arrived at PSG from Napoli for a fee of 64 million euros, the highest ever paid by a French club.
