Welcome back, David Izazola!

After announcing his retirement as a professional footballer a few months ago, due to the lack of support for Mexican players in national soccer, David Izazola will return to the field with the Guatemalan team Comunicaciones FC.

At the time, Izazola said he was "tired of the bad management, of the blatant decisions that are based on money and not on abilities," and recalls the younger generations that have achieved success, specifically the national U-17 teams. He also questions why those golden generations fail to reach consolidation.

The Guatemalan team announced the arrival of the Mexican player on Friday through a statement, in which they welcome him.
