Sandoval paralyzed after strong contact on the field

Argentinian attacker from Club Atletico Colon, Tomas Sandoval, was left paralyzed on the field after a strong blow to the neck while going for a ball in the air.

The referee, noticing that the forward was not getting up, called the medical team onto the field to attend to him.

Sandoval was taken off the field on a stretcher in an ambulance to receive urgent treatment at a hospital affiliated with the team.

Club Atletico Colon has not yet determined the condition of their attacker.
