Charros de Jalisco Dream Big with Sergio Romo and Roberto Osuna

The three-time World Series champion pitcher took the mound for Jalisco in the eighth inning of the second game of the series against Mexicali. Good news has been frequent for Charros in recent weeks, as they were able to secure two heavyweight major leaguers after not being able to sign pitchers like Orlando Lara or Juan Salvador Delgadillo. While Osuna is currently in better form than Romo, for Armando Navarro, many people have not fully grasped the significance of the arrival of a former star pitcher from the San Francisco Giants.

"Unfortunately, the signings of these two players happened when the team was not in a very good moment. They happened very quickly and we couldn't announce them as they should have been, however, we will present them to everyone on Tuesday. In the case of Romo, I feel like the importance of a major leaguer of his caliber hasn't been recognized enough."

Regarding the possibility of seeing Romo and Osuna in the same game, the coach of the Jalisco team assured that the show will not be lacking thanks to their pitching staff, as there are great chances that both pitchers will take the mound in the same game.

"It won't be difficult to see Romo and Osuna in the same game. We have Sergio as a setup man and the 'Cañoncito' as a closer, so it's normal to see them putting on a spectacle with Jalisco."

As a free agent, Sergio Romo has more freedom to pitch for Jalisco, while Osuna arrived in "The Pearl of the West" with some limitations imposed by the Toronto Blue Jays, his team in the major leagues.
