Today marks the start of the thirteenth week of competition in the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys (10-1) are having one of the best seasons in franchise history and are traveling to the U.S. Bank Stadium to visit the Minnesota Vikings (6-5).
Dallas is the clear leader in the National Conference and a victory today would secure their spot in the playoffs. On the other hand, the Minnesota team is still fighting to advance to the next round and wants to defend their home against the current leader of the NFC North Division, the Detroit Lions.
The Vikings are coming off a loss in their last game a week ago in the Thanksgiving Day classic against the Detroit Lions. A field goal stole the victory from their hands.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys are one win away from tying the team's record of 11 consecutive wins, achieved in 1968.
