Paco Jémez reaches an agreement with Cruz Azul
Spanish coach Paco Jémez declared on Sunday that he has reached an agreement with Cruz Azul, although the signing of the contract that would connect him with the Mexican club "has not yet occurred".
"We have reached an agreement and in principle there should be no problem signing the contract, but I don't want to take anything for granted until they make it official because it is not the first time that something has happened at the last minute," said Paco Jémez.
The Spanish coach stated that he will be in charge of forming the squad as soon as he arrives in Mexico, something that he plans to do "soon".
"Those who know the squad the most are them and I have to rely on their information and experience. I think five or six players are leaving and we will have to bring in the same number according to what fits us," he confessed.
46-year-old Paco Jémez has extensive experience as a coach in teams such as Cartagena, Las Palmas, Córdoba, Rayo Vallecano and Granada, and has managed 158 games in the top category of Spanish football.
