About 'Unik Breakers'

Some years ago, we met the members of the Break Dance collective 'Unik Breakers', a group that we have been documenting little by little since 2013. Here, we narrate their evolution, as well as their consolidation at a national level and most recently on an international scale.

The Family Members

Baby, Hill, Scarf, Italiano, Funky Maya, and Ztimpy are some of the members who elevate the name of this family. Some of the achievements of 'Unik Breakers' include being the first B-boys group to perform at the Palace of Fine Arts, and some of them have individually won the Red Bull Cypher competition held annually in its Mexico chapter.

A New Approach to Break Dance

Talking about them means talking about a new way of seeing Break Dance, new movement proposals that express their life experiences in a new dance trend. The purpose of this work is to showcase the richness in movement that they possess individually and as a group.
