Home Run Derby Players for the Mexican Pacific League All-Star Game

The Mexican Pacific League has announced the batters who will play in next week's Home Run Derby during the All-Star Game at Nuevo Estadio de Yaquis.

Ricky Álvarez - Águilas de Mexicali

Ricky Álvarez will represent the Mexicali Eagles, as he replaces Luis Juárez who had some discomfort and preferred not to take any risks; he comes with 16 hits and no home runs in 63 at-bats.

José Amador - Naranjeros de Hermosillo

José Amador will be representing the Hermosillo Orange Growers. The slugger, who had nine home runs until yesterday, has been one of the key players in the team's success and recently hit a grand slam against the Venados.

Carlos Valencia - Yaquis de Ciudad Obregón

Carlos Valencia will represent the Ciudad Obregón Yaquis. He will be one of the most experienced players in the local club, with 23 hits and four home runs in 115 at-bats.

Quincy Latimore - Mayos de Navojoa

Cyle Hankerd - Venados de Mazatlán

Cyle Hankerd will represent the current champions, the Mazatlán Venados. The American player is a key figure for the club, as one of his hits gave them the title in the previous season. Currently, he has four home runs in 113 at-bats.

Japhet Amador - Charros de Jalisco

Lastly, Japhet Amador will handle the bat for the Jalisco Charros. Although he joined the season late, the player from Mulegé has great power; he has hit two home runs in 40 at-bats.
