Rodeo Show 'Fearless Cowboys' at the Alberto Balderas Bullring in Ciudad Lerdo
The Alberto Balderas Bullring in Ciudad Lerdo will be the stage for the 'Fearless Cowboys' rodeo show, which will take place on December 3rd. Brave riders will try to tame heavyweight bucking bulls for eight seconds.
In addition to the rodeo show, the audience, who are fans of banda music, will be able to enjoy live performances by three musical groups.
The general admission will be 100 pesos. Children up to 10 years old enter for free, from 10 to 15 years old it's 2 for 1.
Eusebio Rodríguez, director of 'Fearless Cowboys', accompanied by the sports director of Ciudad Lerdo, José Padilla, as well as some of the participating riders and barrel racers, confirmed that a large portion of the proceeds from this event will be destined for the DIF Lerdense.
The funds will be distributed among various educational institutions to provide scholarships for underprivileged children. It was also confirmed that this show is part of the celebrations for the 122nd anniversary of Lerdo.
"The show is a great addition to our city's celebrations, and it will help underprivileged children continue their studies. We appreciate the organizers and invite rodeo fans and music bands to attend. Thank you for this initiative," he commented.
The show starts at 16:00 hours, with riders from Chihuahua, Hidalgo, and Durango. Adolfo Salas, a cowboy from Torreón, and Alejandro Soto from Parras de la Fuente will also be present from the region of La Laguna.
The general admission will be 100 pesos. Children up to 10 years old enter for free, from 10 to 15 years old it's 2 for 1. Also, the first 200 ladies will enter for free, and the first 100 gentlemen to enter the bullring will receive a complimentary drink.
This show will also be presented on December 10th in San Pedro de las Colonias, on the 17th in Matamoros, on the 25th in Francisco I. Madero, and on January 1st, 2017 in Parras de la Fuente.
