A YouTube video showed what would be one of the most peculiar fouls in football history during a match between women's teams in the American college league. Two players got 'tangled' after a goal play.

During the match between the Florida Gators and the Alabama squad, where the former overwhelmingly defeated their opponent, the result was overshadowed by this peculiar incident prior to one of the goals of the thrashing, as shown on YouTube.

When the match was 2-0 in favor of the Gators, defender Caroline Alexander from the visiting team of Alabama got entangled with Kit Loferski, attacker of the home team. The YouTube video (0:22) shows in detail what happened.

Loferski's cleats had gotten caught in Alexander's shin guard, causing her to fall. However, the referee, without noticing the detail, awarded a penalty kick in favor of the Gators, leading to the 3-0 goal. The goal was scored by Dougherty Howard.

The match ended 6-0 in favor of the home team. However, the over 57,000 views on YouTube are surely due to this particular incident.
