Ben Roethlisberger was seen throwing the football in team practice on Tuesday, following surgery for a left knee meniscus injury.
The quarterback was injured during the week six game of the National Football League (NFL), in which they lost 30-15 against the Miami Dolphins.
Mike Tomlin, head coach of the Steelers, said there was no exact date for 'Big Ben's' return, but he hoped that his recovery time would be short-term and that he could be back as soon as possible.
The University of Miami graduate missed the week seven matchup, in which Pittsburgh fell 16-27 against the New England Patriots. Fortunately, the Steelers have a bye week and will return to action in week nine to face their archrival, the Baltimore Ravens.
