Tennis: Caroline Wozniacki defeats Kristina Mladenovic to win the Hong Kong Open
Danish player Caroline Wozniacki defeated French player Kristina Mladenovic in the final of the Hong Kong Open, capturing her second title in a month.
Wozniacki, who once held the top spot in the world rankings but then went through a long period of poor results, has made a comeback on the WTA Tour, winning the trophies in Hong Kong and Tokyo. She also reached the semifinals of the US Open.
Prior to the US Open, Wozniacki had a record of 13-14 for the season. Since her participation in the last Grand Slam of the year, she now holds a record of 15-3.
