Mexican will fight for the podium at the Archery World Cup.

Mexican archer, Ernesto Boardman, the seventh best in the world, will participate in the 2016 World Archery Cup.

Mexican archer, Ernesto Boardman, the seventh best in the world, will participate in the 2016 World Archery Cup.

Note

Ernesto Boardman will be the only Mexican participating in the Final of the Archery World Cup, to be held in Odense, Denmark, next Sunday.

With this competition, the activities of the current campaign will come to an end, and Boardman is part of the 32 most consistent athletes in the stages held in Shanghai, Medellin, and Antalya, and consequently earned his place in the final.

The Mexican arrives at this competition as the seventh best in the world in the recurve bow specialty and on Sunday he will face the American Brady Ellison in the quarterfinals, who is second in the world ranking.

The winner between the two will face in the semifinal the one who emerges victorious from the duel between Chun Heng Wei from Taipei, the third seed, and Zach Garrett from the United States of America, sixth in the standings.

The matches in the upper part of the standings will be between Bonchan Ku (Korea/1) and Johan Weiss (Denmark/8), and Woojin Kim (Korea/5) against Sjef van den Berg (Netherlands/8).
