Copa MX serves some teams to field young players, so that the academy players gain rhythm, but for Chivas, the Cup is a luxury.

Néstor Calderón, substitute in the league and new signing from Santos, will also be a starter in the Copa MX this Wednesday in the Chiapas jungle. Calderón has one goal, the one that gave them the victory against Rayados, but he is not a starter in the league, he has only played one full game and up to now he has played 303 minutes, so for this forward, the Copa MX is the perfect showcase for him.

Miguel Ponce's case is special, as he was the starter on the left flank, he was an Olympic medalist in London and now he is a starter in the Copa MX. The lefty from Sacramento is not having a good time, as he fails to have regularity in the league and now consoles himself with minutes in the Copa MX.

Alan Pulido will also have minutes in Chiapas to gain football rhythm. Alan was a substitute on Saturday against the Chiapanecos and now he will have participation in the Cup and also see how he continues in the football field, as he has only completed two full weeks with the Rebaño.
