Chivas 110th Anniversary T-Shirt Reaches a Resale Price of 16,000 Pesos

The Chivas t-shirt for the 110th anniversary reached a resale price of 16,000 pesos after the jersey sold out in a special sale to the public.

Users on social media reported that the Chivas t-shirt was priced at that amount, which far exceeds the original price of 1,906 pesos.

It should be noted that only 1,906 t-shirts were put up for sale, while the remaining ones that were produced will be given to historical figures and personalities from the club.

The t-shirts that were put up for sale had a serial number ranging from 0001 to 1906, the year the team was founded; while the ones that will be given away went up to number 2016.

Chivas fans who wanted to get the new t-shirt also faced difficulties in acquiring it, as the website that was set up for this purpose crashed.

"It was worth buying the commemorative jersey from @Chivas; that and their website, for two things," wrote user @JmanzoA.

"How unfortunate! Just seconds away from having my @chivas #110years jersey, I had already clicked pay and the page froze," shared chivatuits.
