Carlos Valencia and Edson García's RBI hits in the fifth inning gave Toros de Tijuana a 2-1 victory over Sultanes de Monterrey in the North Zone final of the Mexican Baseball League.

With this result, the series is tied 2-2 and the championship of this zone is up in the air, while in the South, Puebla leads 3-1 against Leones de Yucatán.

Sultanes opened the scoring in the third inning with a run scored by Luis Flores, but in the fifth inning, the Bulls were able to turn the game around.

In that fifth inning, Olmo Rosario struck out, Juan Apodaca hit a double, Oscar Robles also struck out for the second out, Carlos Valencia hit a pitch and drove in Apodaca, and then Edson García followed with a double to score Valencia.

After that, the fans were thrilled with excitement, mainly because Sultanes' offense was more consistent at the plate, but the home pitchers knew how to cool down the visitors' bats in key moments.
