Following Wednesday’s practice, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney held his final media availability of the week ahead of Saturday’s game.
With three practices in the books this week, Swinney was asked if there’s any notable news to report on the injury front heading into the game at Wake Forest.
“No, we’ve just kind of got some guys that are day-to-day,” Swinney said. “You have a few guys get banged up this time of year.”
Swinney added that there’s a couple players whose injury statuses for the game will be decided on by Friday when Clemson heads to Wake Forest.
“We’ll see where everybody is by Friday. We’ve got a couple guys that are close (to playing),” Swinney said. “But we’ll see where they are by Friday when we load up and go.”
Saturday’s game between the 10th-ranked Tigers (4-1, 3-0 ACC) and Demon Deacons (2-3, 1-1) is set for a noon (ESPN) kickoff at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C.
