KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Chiefs fans are in for a treat as the home game opener gets underway.
Several celebrities will be in attendance. At 5 p.m. in the parking lot, the World’s Largest Tailgate will begin, hosted by Kansas City native Rob Riggle. Social media star Funny Marco and SNL star Heidi Gardner, both Kansas City natives, will be special guests.
Stand-up comic Desi Banks will also be in attendance for all the tailgating fun, as he is a proud KC Chiefs fan. Banks visited Kansas City earlier this year during his stand-up tour and even had a message for Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
“Come to the show. Love you. And bring a jersey,” Banks said.
Chiefs Hall of Famer Dante Hall will also join in the tailgating event.

At 6:55 p.m., gospel superstar Tasha Cobbs Leonard will take the stage to sing the Black National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice”.
The “Put A Praise On It” singer posted to her Instagram account about performing, saying “it will be a night to remember”.
Singer, actress Coco Jones will then take the stage at 7:18 p.m. Jones, a former Disney star will sing the National anthem.

Jones currently stars in the Peacock series “Bel-Air”, a reboot of the popular 90s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. The reboot originated from a dramatic adaptation created by Kansas City native Morgan Cooper.
