German Defender Mustafi Joins Arsenal

The 24-year-old German defender, who currently plays for Valencia, Shkodran Mustafi, has reached an agreement with Arsenal, according to his agent Ali Bulut, as reported by the press.

"Shkodran and Arsenal have reached an agreement. Now, it only remains for the clubs to agree on the price," said Bulut in statements collected by Spox.com.

Mustafi, who played in the Euro 2016 with the German national team, could land at Arsenal for 35 million euros.

The signing of the center-back emerges as a priority for Alexis Sanchez's team, as they have suffered injuries to defenders Per Mertesacker and Gabriel, who will be out of action for a long time.
