Watch out, Overwatch players -- Luka Doncic is coming for your crowns.
The Dallas Mavericks guard revealed he had reached a top 500 ranking on the tank role in the Overwatch 2 video game. In the game, tanks are designed to take space so their teammates can operate safely, and they are often the focal point of a team's strategy. Doncic posted a screenshot of his accomplishment on his Instagram story Wednesday night.
This isn't the first time Doncic made headlines for his Overwatch gameplay. In 2023, Overwatch streamer "moxy" posted a video of him playing with Doncic -- who goes by "Donatello" in-game -- in a Grandmaster-ranked lobby. Grandmaster is the rank directly below Top 500 in the game.

In that match, Doncic was playing Zarya, a tank who focuses on protective bubbles and a highly damaging short-range particle cannon. In a TikTok video in 2022, Doncic said that he mains the tank character Roadhog and the damage characters Hanzo and Cassidy.
