Phoenix Suns star guard Devin Booker is out for Sunday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a right ankle sprain.
Booker sprained the ankle late in the Suns' loss to the Houston Rockets on Saturday night after his feet got tangled with teammate Royce O'Neale. He limped off the court and did not return.
Suns coach Frank Vogel said X-rays were negative.
O'Neale also suffered a right ankle sprain in the game but started for Booker in Sunday's game. Jusuf Nurkic, who exited vs. Houston with a sprained neck in the second quarter, and Bradley Beal, who returned from a five-game absence due to a hamstring injury but only played 20 minutes in Saturday's loss because of an ejection, were also both in the starting lineup vs. the Thunder.
The Suns enter Sunday's game 0.5 game up from the Sacramento Kings for the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference.
