The match was disputed and, in the last minutes, the locals were close to equalizing and spoiling the visit's party. Edgar Guerra (17'), Beckham Castro (48'), and Leonardo Castro (62') were in charge of scoring for the blue team. In the 'reds', Hugo Rodallega (21' and 90') scored twice. Fabián Sambueza was sent off at 43' in Santa Fe, which tilted the balance in a negative way.
