When do they pay the Christmas bonus to teachers in Venezuela?
Although the regime of Nicolás Maduro has not yet announced the first payment for the Christmas bonus aimed at Venezuelan pensioners, however, the alleged official schedule was leaked from the 'Noticias 2001' portal, and Ministry of Education teachers started receiving payments from Tuesday, October 10.
- October 10: first month of the Christmas bonus.
- November 15: second month of the Christmas bonus.
- November 30: third month of the Christmas bonus.
- December 15: fourth month of the Christmas bonus.
- December 23: a special bonus of $150.
How much is the payment of Christmas bonuses in Venezuela?
The amount of the Christmas bonus granted to public sector workers in Venezuela is determined based on the salary scale. In previous years, the authorities deposited an amount equivalent to three months of salary to employees.
