A24's suspenseful, plot-driven, and emotional film tells the story of a young woman named Mia who tries to communicate with her deceased mother through the supernatural, but underestimates the consequences and her best friend's brother will pay for it.

Explained Ending of "Talk to me"

Spoiler alert! If you were left with many doubts after finishing the 95 minutes of the film by the Philippou twins, we detail what really happened to Mia and Riley.

In the end, the evil spirits persuade Mia to push Riley, but Jade stops her. However, she couldn't prevent the girl from throwing herself against a vehicle and dying in the accident.

Mia dies and appears in the hospital, where she sees Riley and her father recovering. Gradually, she is left completely alone and a light catches her attention, leading her to a hand, just as happened at the beginning of "Talk to me".

After this last sequence of the film, it can be deduced that Mia becomes the spirit condemned to darkness in the afterlife, making her the new villain in the confirmed sequel of "Talk to me".
