Producers defend Mel Gibson
Actor Mel Gibson is certainly questioned for the accusation of domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend and mother of his daughter, Oksana Grigorieva. However, the producers of "The Continental" spoke out and supported his casting.
"I think he fit the role, he fit what we needed based on his cinematic past. And I'll let others debate the rest, because it's not a black-and-white issue, and I don't want to be snarky and clickbait-y. It's hard to get into that game. I have my own beliefs in life and everything else, but I'm here to entertain. And in the beginning of my career, I wasn't as careful," said producer Albert Hughes.
