Although it has been less than a week in the box office, some small details are already known about what could be a third part of this franchise that seeks to remain relevant among its audience.
When will "Megalodon 3" be released?
Although clearly nothing official is known yet, "Megalodon 3" would be released around the year 2025, depending on how things develop with the strike of screenwriters and actors, because if it is not resolved soon, we would have to wait until at least 2026.
To strengthen the rumors about this installment, Total Film magazine asked Ben Wheatley a few months ago about the possibility, and he replied: "I don't want to talk about that until 'Meg 2' comes out, but I hope so. There is much more to explore in that world. It is very rich. Its international character is very interesting," he expressed.
What will "Megalodon 3" be about?
Based on what the books that inspired these films indicate, the third installment would show the protagonist, Jonas Taylor, having to face giant sea creatures aboard a Spanish galleon.
