This Friday the legendary Stade de France in Saintt Dennis witnessed the inauguration of Euro 2016.
He stole the show. French DJ David Guetta and Sara Larsson were the main attractions of the opening ceremony in front of a sea of blue shirts in the stands.
Moving. One of the most emotional moments after the inauguration was when La Marsellesa resounded in the Stade de France. More than 80,000 people sang the French anthem at the top of their lungs.
Opening match. In the sports aspect, France defeated Romania 2-1. Olivier Giroud (57') opened the scoring for the 'gauls'. Stancu, from a penalty kick (65'), leveled the game. Two minutes from the end, Dimitri Payet gave France the 2-1 victory with a great goal.
