In the busy Miraflores Park, a box of the doll had been installed for people to take pictures and share them on their favorite social networks, but the municipal authorities of the Lima district decided to remove it for different reasons.

While the security personnel were removing the box, passers-by started recording what was happening and expressing their annoyance. Also, a young man dressed as the popular 'Elmo' decided to help the security team and took photos while pushing.

"The Municipality of Miraflores decided to evict Barbie. You won't believe what happens in the end. How is this event possible?" reads the description of the content with over 26 thousand 'likes' on the popular social network TikTok.

Remember that young people often dress up as Elmo to participate in different social events, as they have been seen in marches organized in downtown Lima and some parties organized by young people.
