How do WhatsApp channels work?
According to WhatsApp, this new feature consists of a way to receive news from celebrities, organizations, favorite teams, among others that you like, directly from the application itself.
That is, channel administrators will be able to send texts, photos, videos, stickers, and surveys to interact with their followers. The most important thing is that this new service will be private and your personal information will not be shared with other users who use this function. Interesting, right?
Is it available in Peru?
For the moment, WhatsApp channels are only available in Colombia and Singapore, as it is still in the testing process. However, the application itself assured that in the coming months it will be enabled in other countries and any users can create channels.
