From when does the law against illegal immigration take effect in Florida?
This law will come into effect from July 1, 2023. This will require companies with more than 25 employees to use E-Verify, a federal system that determines if employees can legally work in the United States, thereby expanding the number of requirements for hiring. In addition, sanctions will also be increased for those who do not comply with E-Verify requirements.
Another important point is that all illegal immigrants who have a driver's license from other states will not be able to drive in Florida with it, so they will have to regularize their situation to operate any vehicle.
