For a few days now, an apartment in New York has been on everyone's lips because its rent costs $2,350, a price that is below average until we found out that the property is only 7 square meters, and not only that, but it also does not have its own bathroom, which has outraged millions on social networks.

And the truth is that looking for a rental, for example, in Manhattan reached a historical peak of $4,200, it can be a real headache, but when many New Yorkers found out that there was an apartment below $2,500, they believed it was a real bargain.

In fact, in the listing in which it is found, it is described as a "perfect starter apartment", but when you see the details, you realize that it is only 77 square feet and that it is "an individual occupancy dwelling studio where you share the bathroom in the hallway with other tenants", located on the third floor of the building.

The video was shared on TikTok by real estate agent Omer Labock, who confessed that it was the smallest apartment he had ever seen in his life, adding in the description: "New York is a special place".

Located in Greenwich Village, it features "a small kitchen equipped with a mini fridge and a sink, a large window, and you might ask where the bathroom is, and the answer is that there is none in the apartment. It is actually located in the hallway and is shared among four different units", says Omer.

At the time the agent posted the video, the rent was $1,975, but today it is $2,350, to which users expressed their outrage: "$2,000 for a closet, no thanks, I'm good", "this should be illegal", "it looks like an elegant prison cell".
