Yojhan Escamilo Cartagena, better known as Chevy, became a trend in the last hours because many considered that he was a victim of racism by Gino Assereto, just when they were in the middle of a competition of 'Esto es Guerra'.
The popular reality TV star was playing a game on the America Television program, when suddenly it was his turn to give clues for 'Chevy' to guess the hidden word, which was 'mono'. However, a controversial incident occurred.
In order to describe what he meant, Jazmín Pinedo's ex-partner started saying "'You, you, they call you'", referring to the young dancer who has been part of 'EEG' for a few months now, causing a flood of criticism among Internet users.
The incident instantly spread on social media and became one of the most widely shared clips in the last hours, as it was clearly evident the confusion of the person who received this racist qualifier, stating that this is not how he is usually referred to.
So far, the competition TV show has not addressed this uncomfortable incident and has not mentioned anything about the discriminatory act between Assereto and 'Chevy' that occurred last Tuesday, May 23rd in its edition.
