How to prevent apps from updating automatically on iPhone
If you no longer want certain apps to update automatically, we explain how to stop them in the following tutorial.
- From your iPhone, go to the "Settings" app.
- Then, go to the "iTunes Store and App Store" section.
- Go to "App Updates".
- Now, tap the switch to disable this function.
- Scroll down to "Automatic Downloads".
- Disable this function by tapping the switch.
This way, the apps will not update without your permission. Also, keep in mind that you can always reset these functions by following the aforementioned steps, but enabling each switch.
