The Yape mobile banking platform has just been renewed and has launched a limited-time super promotion. If you want to travel throughout Peru, you can now buy your ticket with Star Peru with a 30% discount.

That means if your ticket to Iquitos costs 150 soles, you will have a 50 soles discount to travel to that city without any problems. It should be noted that this Yape promotion is valid for flights from Lima to Cajamarca, Chiclayo, Iquitos, Pucallpa, Tarapoto, and Huancayo.

To receive the 50 soles from the Yape promo, you just have to go to the 'Promos' section in the app and look for the 'Transportation' option.

The promotion with Star Peru is valid until July 31, 2023, and you can use it by simply purchasing your ticket with Yape. Remember that this promo consists of a 30% coupon, up to 50 soles, on that flight.

Having the Yape application on your cell phone is extremely simple, you just have to search for the app on Google Play, AppGallery for Huawei, or the App Store. After downloading it to your device, go to the "create account" option and then follow the requirements that are asked of you.

You can only perform these operations with people who use Plin with BBVA, Scotiabank, and Interbank. Likewise, it will be done in the way we already know, through the cell phone number, and the operating cost will be completely free. Starting in June, transfers can be made through QR code.

To have an account in Yape, you must have an Android 5.1 or iOS 11 or later cell phone. In addition, you need your National Identity Document (DNI), foreigner card, or passport.

To have a Yape account, you must link a debit card account in soles at: BCP, Banco de la nación, Mibanco, Caja Cusco, Caja Huancayo, Caja Ica, Caja Piura, Caja Sullana, Caja Trujillo, Caja Tacna.
