Why is it Thursday?
- According to the days (yesterday and the day before yesterday represent minus one day and tomorrow is adding one number). It would be like this: Today - 1 - 2 + 1 = Monday.
- We cancel the equal digits, so Today - 2 = Monday, which turns into Today = Monday + 2.
- What does Monday + 2 represent? It is enough to add the two following days to the beginning of the week, to decipher that today is Wednesday.
- So, the problem would be like this: today + 2 + 1 - 2. We cancel the equal digits and we are left with Today + 1, which gives us as an answer Thursday, because we know that today is Wednesday.
