Closed Metro Plaza Lima Sur due to rats
After a video showing two large rodents running through the deli section of the well-known supermarket chain Metro located in Plaza Lima Sur went viral on social media, the Municipality of Chorrillos has issued a recent statement. What did they say? Find out the details in the following article.
Health Service Management evaluates the situation
The Health Service Management along with the agents of the Municipality were present this morning at the establishment to assess the controversial situation shown in a recently viralized video.
Although initially the company spoke up and claimed that the presence of these animals was due to the heavy rains that have hit Lima in recent days, the Municipality of Chorrillos made the immediate decision to close the store, as stated in its recent statement.
Fiscalization found "anomalies" in the store
Furthermore, according to the Submanagement of Fiscalization, the facilities presented "various anomalies in the cleaning system, product storage, and infrastructure," so the supermarket will remain closed until "the infractions and three fines in this regard are resolved."
It should be noted that the entity explained that other "preventive sanitary controls" will be carried out in the other shopping centers in the district to prevent the presence of pests and rodents that may harm the attending public.
