Persecution against me would be inevitable in a government of Keiko Fujimori, says Peru's first lady Nadine Heredia
The first lady Nadine Heredia assured that a political persecution against her would be inevitable in a potential government of Keiko Fujimori. In response, reactions in Congress were not delayed.
Congressman Héctor Becerril came forward to respond to the wife of the Head of State and did not hesitate to say, "once again, the first lady lied to the country."
On the other hand, congresswoman Marisol Perez Tello maintained that there was never any political persecution against Nadine Heredia. She also stated that if the first lady had shown a positive attitude towards the investigations, her situation would be different.
