The 2023 school year has officially started in some educational institutions
which suggests that students already have all their materials to start classes, however, this represents a 'headache' for some parents, as is the case that went viral on Twitter. Want to know more? We'll tell you in this article.
A photograph was shared on social media showing the amount of materials requested for the parents of Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten children to present to the school, however, the most striking thing is the extensive list.
From 20 thin silicones, repellent, paracetamol, 2 meters of fabric, 1 hardware thread, and up to 6 thick Faber Castell markers, one of the brands with high cost compared to others, are the requests made by the preschool school, a situation that has not gone unnoticed by dozens of users.
The viral Twitter post already has more than 30 thousand 'Likes' and more than a thousand comments, most of them from outraged people about everything that was requested and even stated that the number of materials on the school supplies list was an "abuse".
However, another group of internet users emphasized that what was requested was for the crafts used to decorate the classrooms of the little ones, as it is known that usually the early grade classrooms are decorated for each celebration.
"At my daughter's school they asked for something similar. In addition to paying a very high fee and didactic material, haha in the end, between uniforms and supplies, more than $100,000 was spent for the start of classes", "Everything seems like a lot to me but it is also interesting to highlight that all the decoration of the classrooms, the little signs and those things that make the classrooms look nice don't come out of thin air, they come out of the teachers' pockets, usually, which is why I think it's good for the parents to take charge.", "I don't understand. Is it to buy all that, or to pay the kindergarten fee? Or both? I mean, to apply for a loan from the bank.", they said.
