If you're a fan of the series "Squid Game", but not bold enough to face a possible real-life version, you will soon have a virtual reality option to do so without risking your life.
Squid Game in VR
Netflix has partnered with Sandbox VR to produce a game based on the Korean television series, and starting from "late 2023", you will be able to enter this dystopia in any of the Sandbox VR game rooms worldwide.

The game developer has more than 30 locations worldwide, with 26 of them in North America.
According to Sandbox VR, their upcoming experience will have players "transported to iconic locations from Squid Game, where they will become players in a variety of exciting challenges inspired by the Netflix series".
"They will compete against each other to be the last one standing", presumably without anyone dying. As with all Sandbox VR games, players will be able to replay, share, and even instantly download a customized reel of mixed reality highlights.

Realism will accompany the experience
The San Francisco-based virtual reality company did not share more details about its collaboration with Netflix, however, due to the popularity of the series and the realism that can be experienced in this type of experience, the next Squid Game title should not disappoint its players.
All Sandbox VR games allow up to six players to roam freely in each room, while using wrist and ankle trackers to capture full-body movement, as well as a bHaptic TactSuit to feel gunshots or zombie scratches.
Players also have a prop weapon that matches the size of their virtual counterpart, making these virtual reality games more immersive than they already are.
