How much do they charge for a 30-second ad on the Super Bowl Halftime Show 2023?
The 30-second ads for Super Bowl LVII on February 12th will cost seven million dollars, the highest figure in the history of NFL championship games.
According to AdAge, a global media brand that publishes news, analysis, and data about marketing, that will be the cost for each advertising intervention during the Vince Lombardi Trophy duel between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The game will take place next Sunday at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Information from Nielsen Holdings, an American information, data, and market measurement company, indicates that in last year's Super Bowl LVI, which the Rams won over the Bengals, the cost for a half-minute advertisement was 6.5 million dollars.
The lowest price for a 30-second ad in the last four years was 5.5 million dollars in Super Bowl LV 2021, in which the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by Tom Brady, defeated the Kansas City Chiefs.
The cost of a half-minute advertisement during the 2020 title game, which ended with the Chiefs defeating the San Francisco 49ers, was higher than that of 2021; it cost 5.6 million.
Last week, Anheuser-Busch, an American brewing company based in St. Louis, Missouri, announced that they will be the company with the largest investment in advertising time for this year's NFL title game; they bought three minutes.
“Anheuser-Busch has a long history of delivering great performances to fans during the Super Bowl, and this year will be no exception. We are the largest advertiser,” said Benoit Garbe, marketing director of Anheuser-Busch, in a statement.
Another major advertiser will be the American multinational PepsiCo, which committed to buying over three million dollars in advertising during Super Bowl LVII on various league platforms.
