The Congress of the Republic has promulgated Law No. 31670, which will benefit the affiliates of the Administradoras de Fondo de Pensiones (AFP). Therefore, it will be possible to access the funds and here we share the information on how to do it.
It should be noted that although it will be a withdrawal as indicated by the approved norm that originates the Minimum Pensions and Promotes Alternative Voluntary Contributions for Pension Purposes, this payment will not be the same as the previous ones.
The new AFP withdrawal 2023 can only be carried out after the contributor establishes a minimum savings goal or pension of not less than 398 soles. Find out more information below.
Who can access the AFP withdrawal?
Only contributors over 40 years old who have had a salary greater than 3,000 soles during their contribution years would have access to this new AFP withdrawal.
From when will the AFP withdrawal be possible?
This new law that includes disposing of and withdrawing money from the AFP 2023, has a period of 90 days to be regulated by the Executive Branch, so the requests could be made in April approximately, therefore the first withdrawals would start in June.
