During the first months of 2022, during the government of former president Pedro Castillo, an agreement was reached with public workers to grant them a new bonus of 550 soles.

What are the requirements to receive the extraordinary bonus of 550 soles?
To access this bonus, state employees must meet certain requirements, which are listed here:
- Have an active employment relationship as of December 2022.
- Be registered in PDT PLAME as of September 2022.
- You must be registered in the Informatic Application for the Centralized Registry of Payrolls and Human Resources Data of the Public Sector (AIRHSP) as of November 30, 2022.
When will the 550 soles bonus be delivered to the public sector?
According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), in December 2022, the benefits were given to public sector workers. President Dina Boluarte approved Supreme Decree No. 307-2022-EF.
Who are the workers who receive the 550 soles bonus?
Public servants who will benefit from the delivery of the new 550 soles bonus must be included in the following regimes of the national, regional, and local governments:
- Legislative Decree No. 276 (public sector administrative career).
- Legislative Decree No. 728 (Employment Promotion Law).
- Legislative Decree No. 1057 (special regime of administrative service contracting, CAS).
- Public service workers.
- Law No. 30057 (Civil Service Law).
- Law No. 29709 (Penitentiary Public Special Career Law).
- Law No. 28091 (Diplomatic Service Law).
